Mute?

I have a customer who plays DVDs in WinDVD and wants to mute my DVD but not mute the whole of Windows. WinDVD does not appear to have a mute command.

I have found that I can add an empty soundtrack and link this to a "mute" option on a menu, but it uses quite a bit of valuable space on the disk (0.2 Gb or so, and I don't want to drop my video bitrate to accommodate this).

Is there another way to issue a "mute" command from a menu?

Thanks!

Nick

What version of WinDVD is your client using? The mute button in v7.0 is the little speaker icon next to the volume control. Or press "M" on the keyboard.

Hi Rob,

I know about that button but it mutes the whole computer, not just WinDVD. The customer has a shop and wants play my DVD on loop but with no sound, and play other music on the same computer through Realplayer or whatever.
