Muting audio tracks: problem?

When I try to mute a single track, the voice track instance, by using the mute icon on the track display, every track mutes- even the video tracks. I can't seem to mute a single track, and I'm sure this used to work. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

I had exactly the same problem. I can't remember the details, but it was very simple and very obvious - once you knew the answer! I think I'd selected all the track controls, so anything I did to one track I did to them all. I'll have a play this evening if you're still having problems.

OK, if you look at the track controls, on the left hand side, you'll probaby see that they're all highlighted. Just click on one of them and you should be OK.

BTW, that is a very non-intuitive user interface issue, don't you think? Especially since when/if you DO figure out to click on the track icon, it doesn't behave like a button in any way. Rather, the track name becomes highlighted. Very poorly designed.
