Am I doing somthing wrong?
When I transfrer my video to PC via firewire why does Scrrenblast transfer one tape into hundreds of clips?

I had same problem turn off auto scene detection.

Umm , excuse me, but isn,t that what you want it to do ?
Otherwise how will you edit if everything is one clip.

Well first of all, you can edit one long clip, by splitting it or selecting a section and deleting it. When I am capturing a VHS tape of old movies, I usually capture the entire project w/o scene detection. I usually preview my capture and make notes of where I might want to break the capture which will make it easier to edit. It depends on what you want to do with the capture to determine how and where you detect scenes.
