Chien, make sure you download the correct driver for your USB port. I accidently installed a Win98 driver for my USB while running XP, and all my points at the end of my sentences looked like decimals...VERY frustrating to say the least!
I have great self-esteem when i proudly announce that my body mass is 4.85 slugs! Or is that 11.1 stone? Or maybe 694 Newtons? Whatever, as long as they're not fig-newtons!
I'm glad my little question sparked such an interesting conversation, but back to the original question...
Page 15 in the DVDA Manual, under preparing files for DVD Architech: "Even if you plan to replace the audio with PCM or AC-3, you will need to import muxed MGEG files." Does then mean "mixed" (audio + video)? As in: DVDA will not accept MPEG 2 files rendered with out audio (one of the options in Vegas)? I rendered a very long file without audio, but I've a feeling it won't work in DVDA! I've yet to burn my first DVD in DVDA, but hopefully I'll work through the manual on making menus and burn one tonight. Wish me luck!
lynj: i have no idea of that's what they're referring to or not, or whether it will work or not. However, before you spend a lot of time rerendering, you could try importing the file you've created. If DVDA accepts it, then all is joy. If not, then you've got the answer to your question. :)
