My DVD write

Thanks for earlier replys to my last post. I sorted that one out!

DVDA doesnt recognise my external DVD writer/burner. When I click "make DVD" DVDA just hangs and doesnt respond. If I turn of the writer no probs but then I cnat burn my project. Any advice would be appreciated.

I think I resolved my own problem. With my burner I can use firewire(IEEE1394) or USB 2. Everything works fine with the later so will look into resolving the issue with the firewire. However, any advce on this would be appreciated.

Also, I believe there is / was some kind of firewire-related bug in Windows XP. Johnmeyer has, if I recall, posted a link to a fix or patch. Do a search of this forum for firewire and patch.
