My first published DVD

My first "for sale" DVD. Did the editing from Thanksgiving to Christmas of last year. Used DJ graphics and sound. Filmed entirely on green screen by EDAN Productions from Texas. Have sold well over 400 in less than 3 months. The web site has a couple of screen captures and a promo reel for the DVD. Also the art work for the DVD covers. I designed the website as well using CoffeeCup.

Very nice, Harold. I've forwarded the webpage link to a friend that is not only into production, but he's an amateur magician as well.

Thanks, I appreciate that a lot.

Very nice spot - I recommend adding sale price and total running time, to it - at end. Price should be very clear - suggest a PayPal account, and a clear "shipping and handling cost" of 4.95.
I use on-line Priority mail for all our DVD sales - very easy, fast and cheap. www.usps.com/printlables

Also, if you've got the energy for a re-edit, it would be nice to actually hear what he's saying, in a pertinent spot. I would "almost" reveal how to do a trick.

And if you're going after the amateur audience (as opposed to pro's, wannabe's and semi-pro's) I'd show some WAY easier things. Right now it's formidable to a rank beginner (like me).

But if your audience is strictly professional, it's "right on".

Production looks very slick - very nice job.

Thanks for the input Vic.
I want to promote the sale of this DVD on the next DVD that is coming out by including this promo. I will take some of your suggestions and re-edit the promo to include some more highlights and voice. Once I get that done I will replace the current version with the new one. There are some easier effects on the DVD and I will put one of those in there too.

Thanks,
Harold

Very nice. I think I'll buy one for my son, the budding magician.

Once Comment: The "Ed Ellis Magic Materialize"flying in from left to right causes me a bit of mental dissonance. The words are presented in sequence, but my mind creates the entirety of a sentence as if reading from right to left.

Maybe consider sliding in straight on? Maybe fly in fromthe right ?

FWIW, I had the same issue with the title sequence...

I guess I never noticed that. I will have to see how easy I can fix that.

I'm being kind of picky, but you have an apostrophe in your url, indicating the possessive case of DVD:

http://www.edellismagic.com/DVD's.html

It should be:

http://www.edellismagic.com/DVDs.html

since you are indicating the plural case of DVD.

(Same thing with the "DVD's" button on the left margin.)

Sorry, this oversight has always been one of my bugaboos when I see it in billboards and other signage!
