If, as Sonic Foundry should... they add support for hardware control surfaces in Vegas 4, they are likely to do this using an OPT plugin.

If Vegas 4 therefore supports OPT plugins, we should be able to use a MIDI editing OPT plugin such as the one in ACID 4.
