It is the MyHD MDP-120, available at www.digitalconnection.com.

I have recently evaluated a couple of other HDTV tuner cards, most notably the one from ATI, and they were all junk compared to the MyHD MDP-120. I have two of them and they work and look GREAT. It will tune and record off-air HDTV, plus off-air and cable analog TV. The latest drivers now allow Tivo-like pausing of live TV. The next drivers will allow you to record one DTV program while watching another. Also, the MyHD will play back files from the new FX1 and Z1 HDV camcorders and do it perfectly.

I also have one. It will also play back rendered V5 HDV files with audio if you change the file ending from mpg to tp. The quality is also better than the Samsung T165 Tuner and there are no scaling problems. It has a DVI optional daughter card but not the new HDMI connection.

I went to the site you listed, and was impressed. Then, on a whim, I did a google for the product number but changed it from 120 to 130, and found that there is a NEW card out by that company. No pricing, as yet, but they have full description available. Looks nice. Think I will definitely keep this one in mind.

They have an extremely competent forum on this card and the software that is constantly being developed for it. They flog it out pretty good. I use 36 ft analog and DVI and serial remote cabling on mine with no problems.

JJ,

I assume that you're talking about the AVS Forum or is there one I don't know about?
