I just wanted to post saying I saw that my last post was deleted? Is there a reason why to it was deleted? I didn't get any notifications about it being an issue.i was just talking about how I moved back to Vegas after using After Effects for two months and some guy was complaining in the post.

I checked into it and the last post was by a moderator stating:

"This thread is hidden. Reason: "promoting ... copyright-protected material for illegal purposes" (CR6)."

You should have been contacted directly about this.

Unlike other places on the internet this forum was created by a software development company and as such takes a dim view on software piracy. If you refrain from discussing such issues here, and treat other users with respect, you'll have no problems on this forum.

I appreciate your enthusiasm for VEGAS and your experience with how to use it in new ways.

Hello, well, commenting only post was being a jerk about it. He took what I said about the cracked versions and didn't even comment about anything else I said, not even the edit I shared. Sure, I mentioned I use the cracked plugins yeah I get some people look down at them, but hey we all use softwares in our different ways. I'm just happy I found my place with Vegas pro after a decade of editing.

I even found a way to do the hand writing effect in Vegas using the masking tool that people use for after effects for text effects.

He wasn't in the wrong though as we aren't allowed to discuss piracy here (community rule 6).

I suggest a new post without any discussion of cracked software as it isn't allowed here. If you continue to write about it you will be banned and that would be a shame.

Gotcha, sorry about that. Thoughts on the handwriting text effect though? It was my first shot at it too

I think please make a new post about the handwriting text post as I think what you are working on is fascinating. I wouldn't want it to get lost here.

No problem at all. I'm curious about how you did the "stephen" writing. We also have a tutorials section if you ever want to share how you do what you do.
