How about a little more info, please?

What version of DVDA are you using? DVDA 1.0, DVDA 2.0, DVDA Studio? Using the more current update?

Which text? Links, titles, both?

Where are you looking when the text is "not there"? DVDA preview? On a burned disc?

Is this your first project? If not, has this happened before...or is this problem only in one project?

DVDA 2.0 Build 94
The only text I have on the menu are links. I think that answers your question.
This is on a burned disc. It's there in the program. On the DVD, I can see the highlighted color that shows that something is supposed to be there, and I can move the color between the links...and the links work. I just can't see the text.

Yes, this is my first project. I don't think I did anything differently than with the other two screens that have links on them. Sorry for the lack of jargon. Very new.

From the v2.0a update notes....

A bug has been fixed that could prevent text-only buttons from being displayed on a burned DVD when a video was used as the menu background.

Current version is 2.0b build 130

That about sums it. I'll give it a whirl. Thanks.
