My top two...

Two things that would really help in project management...

1. Nested sequences that can be transferred amongst projects. For example: we have a logo stinger at the fromt end of our project. I'd like to see the ability to collapse the different elements of this sequence into a single event that can be saved and transferred into other projects and be able to edit it when desired. This feature would also make it easier to edit complex pieces with multiple-layered sequences.

2. Even more significant would be the ability to define regions in a video segment in the Trimmer and be able to save them in the Media Pool as discrete objects. Right now, when a region is saved, it is not distinguishable from any other region in the same segment. The current state of affairs is counterproductive. Of course, going along with this should be the ability to name the region and have the name stay with it.

You got my top two and in the right order.

Nested sequences are standard in Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro. Sub-clips are standard in Avid Xpress DV. Go take a look Sony and give us these two features in the next upgrade.

Hey Don, I'm with you on those. Even if nothing else changed except those two things it would be monumental.

Having just finished a 40 minute Trip to Hawaii video for the family I would add my number 3 to the list:

3. Better text editing in the Credit Roll. I would like to be able to change the justification of the three types of text line by line rather than globally as it is now. I know you can just use multiple Credit Rolls but that seems like an unneccessary work around.
