My Vegas always skips the start of the video...

I have a problem and that is that my Vegas (12) always skips a little bit of the beginning of the video after rendering. Does not matter what I do, it is always the same.
Any suggestions someone ?

Is the loss consistent and how much do you lose?

The loss is consistent and I lose about 3-4 seconds of the video.

you don't have a looped section on by any chance? and untick render loop section only in render dialogue just in case.

I found the issue. It wasnt Vegas at all. It was VLC that cut off the beginning of my videos. It works fine when I play it through Windows Media Player.
