My Vegas pro is Freezing all the time

JonasLykke wrote on 7/19/2023, 4:07 PM

Hello

I've almost just downloaded Vegas Pro, and it doesn't quite work. I'm well into editing, but almost every 10 minutes, the program freezes, and I'm forced to shut it down. I've tried countless YouTube tutorials, and it just won't work. Quite frustrating, as it makes my editing take 2-3 hours more than usual. Anyone know what the problem might be?

From the Help Menu, update your video drivers. If that doesn't change anything, start here for further peer support:

Fra menuen Hjælp skal du opdatere dine videodrivere. Hvis det ikke ændrer noget, så start hende for yderligere peer support:

@JonasLykke Hi, you need to share the info in that link @mark-y shared mainly your PC specs, what graphics driver you're using & what media you're using, until you share those nobody will be able to help you. so -

Can you click your icon at the top of this page - My Profile & fill in your Signature with the full name of your CPU, GPU & amount of RAM, also inc the Windows & Vegas version, this will then show at the bottom of your comments,

There's an App mentioned in that link called MediaInfo, download it, it's free & a fast download with no added adverts or any of that rubbish. https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo

After downloading, right click on the media file in your Windows folder, open MediaInfo, choose Text from the options at the top, Copy & paste the information in a new comment on here 👍

have tried most things from that link and feel either that I have tried it or that it didn't work.

Section "B" and Section "C" in that link are asking you politely for essential informatioin to help us to help you troubleshoot. Without it, you are pretty much on your own.

Official Support link is at the top of the page, and they most likely will ask you for the same information.

Good luck!
