Just a thought to remember. That is the pro's are using equipment far superior to what we have in our homes. They are capturing in broadcast quality. This is something to keep in mind. It sounds as though it might be your capture card. I am transfering old vhs analog tapes through a sony trv17 with digital passthrough with no problem. Would remove all drivers expect for VF and see what happens. Not all drivers are compatable.
