MyDVD frustration

I have two things going on with MyDVD (all of the .mpg files referred to below are MPEG-2 files created with Movie Studio.)

1. I just tried twice to burn a DVD containing multiple .mpg files and after getting all the way to burning, it goes halfway and gives me an error ("DVDerr: end of file" or something like that.) What's that all about? It's less than 2GB of material. I'm wondering if one of the files I've prepared has an error in it. And if so, which one? How can I tell?

2. I have a single .mpg file that is 4.2GB. I load it into MyDVD and the "burn" button disables as the "space available" incidator goes to zero. Clearly it thinks this file is too big. Why?

MyDVD can use avi (it converts them to mpeg-2) or mpeg-2 files directly. Sonic basically says use MyDVD or a third party (like us) to create the mpegs.
Search the Sonic knowledge base for "Gray", the "Burn" Button Grayed Out article has links to a ton of info about MyDVD.

I didn't see DVDErr: end of file when I searched Sonic KB on DVDErr -- was there a error number? Maybe one of the other DVDErr's will help.

I hope some of this helps,
