From what I have read, Avid and Adobe seem to be making the most noise this year. How Adobe can justify charging users $99 for Premiere Pro 1.5 and $99 for Encore DVD 1.5 is beyond me especially after users just shelled out mad cash 6 months ago for the early offerings.

Premiere Pro does have one feature that I would love for VV to have and that is the one click color correction. Heck, most of the books for those products have just came out and now they go and release a new version in less than 8 months. I guess if Adobe wasnt sucking their customers dry then they wouldnt be Adobe.

Avid complete studio sounds nice with basically a one stop shop for editing, compositing, dvd etc... but not for $6000.

I havent heard much about HDV cameras. I was hoping to hear Canon releasing an HDV. Heres hoping for that news tomorrow.
