Hello,
Does anyone here with Vegas 6 have any experience -- and success -- in capturing motion zoom/bank sequences with NASA World Wind and/or Celestia?
Flyovers using 90 degree/flat-on surfaces can be made from stills by using V-6's pan-crop; but the moment one does any banking or zooming, it gets tricky and choppy.
Flat or otherwise, using an .avi screen capture app comes out choppy (at least the one I have). Sometimes it is suggested to turn off hardware acceleration, but with these types of heavy duty visual apps, its a no-go.
The other way is to record/save as multiple files, usually .png, but that seem like a waste of time for it would be just as or more choppy (not enough frames for smooth NTFS 29.9)?
Those who know these apps (esp. WW) are well aware of the grids and differences in quadrants due when and what satellites took the images. If you have experience in how to remove or delete such grid lines with Vegas, that kind of wisdom would be most useful, too.
Again, with still images, that's easy. Motion/video, that's not as easy.

Bottom line:
Such sequences are important parts to my overall video project. I'd really like to .avi a few sequences that look smooth and professional. Not just some YouTube, low res quickie job.
Thanks.
