Need Answers to Information Security Questions

I need answers to specific questions from our IT Security Team related to our desire to upgrade to Vegas Pro 23. One of my employees has been working on this for months. She was assigned this ticket number ****, but MAGIX closed the ticket without contacting her or answering her questions.

We've received the same bot response referenced by many here. Hopefully, I can get some answers by posting our questions here.

The ten questions below are from our IT Security Team. Any help is appreciated. If I don't get the answers, I'll move my team to Adobe Premier Pro (who quickly and satisfactorily responded to these questions).

  1. Where is data processed (local vs. cloud)?
  2. What data is transmitted off the workstation/computer?
  3. How long is any of the data transmitted off the workstation/computer retained by VEGAS Creative Software?
  4. Is Nebraska Medicine data used for your AI model training or reuse of customer content?
  5. What is the fate of data processed by the AI features?
  6. How is data encrypted?
  7. What access controls exist for data transferred to VEGAS Creative Software?
  8. What customer opt‑outs exist?
  9. Who owns uploaded video, audio, or text?
  10. Does VEGAS Creative Software acquire any rights to customer content?

No worries. I've been corresponding with John on another thread and via email. As I mentioned to the MAGIX Team, we've already gone through the same process for Adobe Premiere Pro and that process went quickly and smoothly. The only reason we were trying to do the same with Vegas Pro is because of my team's familiarity with Vegas. At this point, I and my employee, and our IT Team have spent far too much time trying to get answers to the questions that Adobe provided in one exchange. Given this, I will be moving my team to Adobe Premiere Pro. Please consider this matter closed.
