Need Design Ideas...

I am creating a video that will be used to view and order photographs. The previous design showed the images for X seconds then added a transparent order number to the lower right hand side for a few seconds.

I think it looks sort of cheesy, but I really can't think of anything else. There are a several hundred slideshow type images, so I need a way for the customer to identify them for ordering purposes.

Any ideas?

I don't think the idea was all that bad. Being involved with photography myself, it would work for me. How about leaving the number up all the time? The only other thing that came to my mind was some sort of "contact" sheet or thumbnail image that would have the numbers (or titles) displayed after or before a series of images. The problem with that is then you have to remember what you wanted. So, thinking like a client in a hurry, I'd go for the quick and easy method-------jotting down the number of the image(s) I like.
