Need some help guys. I've searched but it's a little overwhelming. I shot some video with a consumer HD camcorder. I used 1920 x 1080 avchd and I'm using home studio HD 11 to edit it down to about 1hr 17 minutes. My question is how to render it to the best quality dual layer DVD. All the editing is complete, can someone step me thru the process of rendering?

For 77 minutes i wouldn't bother with the expense and hassle of a dual-layer DVD. You could render a constant bitrate of 7,500,000 and get excellent quality. Since the upper limit is about 8,500,000 anyway, a dual-layer disc isn't going to gain much at all.

You also don't say if you're going to use DVD Architect Studio to do the actual DVD authoring -- but, if you don't have it, it's well worth investing in.

You'll have much more control over your disc production than you will if you output directly from Vegas -- which only gives you the option of creating an auto-launch disc.

Thanks. Yes I will be using DVD Architect for the first time.
