Need HD DVD Burner that works with Vegas

My regular DVD reader/writer is acting up so maybe that is an excuse to replace it with an HD DVD burner. That way I can finally move all my final edited HD videos from my harddirve or in some cases my HD DV camcorder to HD quality DVD for archeiving/playback. I use Sony Vegas 8 Platinum and understand that I can burn to DVD from inside this program (haven't tried it though). Any recommendation for an HD DVD burner (blue ray?) that works well inside this program. Be nice to have one that also burns images into the DVD for titles, etc.

First of all, BluRay and HD-DVD are two completely different systems. HD-DVD was deprecated over a year and a half ago, and players and discs that support that format are no longer being sold in the US.

That being said, there is mention of this Pioneer BluRay burner for $229 over in the Pro forum:
