Need help creating VCD

Hello,

I'm using VF v 2.0. I'm having a problem creating a Video CD.

When I click on Make Movie > Write your movie to Video CD or CD-ROM > Create a Video CD and Render your project to this format. Once I click on next, nothing happen.

So I tried Make Movie > Write your movie to file on your disk > Use VideoCD NTSC template then it start creating the MPEG file. Which I can view on the computer without any problem. But once I copied it to the CD-R, it wont play on the DVD machine.

How can I make the first method to work. I understand I need to buy a special CD burner software to use method two.

Appreciate any help.

Hello, and thanks for adding to the forum.

After clicking 'Create a Video CD and Render your project to this format' are you being given an error message?

What type of CDR drive do you have in the machine?

Please fill out a email support request so we can tackle this one with you that way as well.

Hi,
I have a Sony DVD player and it wont read cd-r's at all, but it will read CD-RW's. Since I started using cd-rw's I've had no problem playing vcd's on mine or anyone else's machines. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

No error message. Also no message on event viewer

I'm using a TEAC CD-W54E USB Device (CD-RW)on a Compaq Presario 1800T

I already fillout www.sonicfoundry.com/support/ supportmail.asp. Lance Linimon already reply but so far what he asked me to do didn't fixed the problem. I'm hoping he has more ideas I could try.

Thanks
