Need help please, anyone with an egosys card

hello, I just got a wamirack 192L and I have a strange problem.
Each time I load up more than one asio app, the computer reboots. I thought the driver was multi-client... Even my audigy can do that. Is this an hardware problem ? Also, can't record in 24 bits in Vegas, can in soundforge but no Vegas...
Thanks

Nat

ASIO drivers are not typically multi client. That is, only one ASIO app can communicate with the drivers at a time. Some drivers will deal with this correctly, others will die a horrible death.

Note also, that Vegas does not support ASIO drivers in its current versions.

That's sad :( I bought this card to record ASIO soft synths in Vegas using the directwire feature (since vegas doesn't support asio) and now i'm limited to only one soft synth... I was pretty suprised considering my Audigy can handle multiclient asio very well :(
Also Vegas won't record 24 bit with the card...

Surpising that the Audigy does Mulitclient ASIO, but the more 'pro' cards don't handle this well.

We are aware of the 24 bit record issues with the EgoSys cards. We are looking into the problem.

Thanks,

I'll cross my fingers and hope they release multiclient drivers... It's pretty lame because their advertising claims that their drivers are fully multiclient, and the directwire feature is incredible, but with no multiclient it's pretty useless.
I used to load up multiple instances of asio fx processor and record them in Vegas, now I have to load them in Cubase which is pretty memory intensive....
Well. Glad to hear you're working on the 24 bit issue.
