Hello everyone, So Im using sony vegas 13 and when I try to move one of the clips around, they duplicate themselves...How do I stop this from happening? Im almost done with this video and this is an annoying problem. I'd be grateful for any help you guys.

P.S I can't even delete the clips either...

I don't get this.

What are you "grabbing" and dragging with the mouse to get this behavior? Are you holding down CTRL on your keyboard? Are you pulling on the clip or the edge (edit point) of the clip?

Please explain EXACTLY what you are doing so we can make sense of this strange behavior.

Make sure you have the Normal Edit Tool active. I can Duplicate Events by holding down the Ctrl Key as described by @Kinvermark.

Thanks @Grazie. I was pressing cntrl and dragging the clip that I had trouble with. I pressed the key U I think and it ungrouped the video and audio clip. Im still having trouble moving the audio clip because it duplicated when I moved it. Also, I moved the clip around the middle part...and sorry for not explaining things right. Im fairly new to sony vegas.
