Can you post a link?
Are you talking about a film stopping showing still frames?

this is an audio velocity key gen if I need to hold or slow and pause on a wipe or sting

I was hoping someone used this before and managed to get it to work

That’s the one Grazie

How do I apply this vst?

If I apply it on the track fx go to fx chain and add
I can see the automation line and add value nodes etc but I cannot hear the fx in real time or render it out

Does this make sense

Does this make sense I understand what you are saying and yes you are making sense.

When I have had a VST plug I have needed to "tell" Vegas about this. Go into Preferences - I don't have Vegas fire-up at present - and look for the VST controls and tell Vegas that it exists. I had to do this with several Audio VSTs. I really don't understand "what" makes these things "tick", but I do remember having to tell Vegas what it was and where it resided.

Go look at the Preferences Menus. If you HAVE done this already, then I am taking out of my "Groot Gat"!

Well I had a good chuckle

The only thing that’s GROOT is the confusion

It seems that you can’t click on the nodes to create them you have to use the play and stop button which will create the nodes and then these cannot be edited by moving them in the conventional way either
Very disappointing so I am busy playing around with this to get the feel..it may still be useful.

Hopefully Jetdv or someone will write a script that can be used to control the audio velocity the same as we have for video

How many times have you worked on a piece of content and you needed the audio to hold or stretch at a particular point just a few frames or half a beat?
Now you either have to mess with the visuals or audio still trying to keep the beat because of a few frames which can’t be dump

the easiest and best would be to hold or slow a convenient part of the audio. Problem solved quick and easy.

Well I got this thing to work. It's highly unpredictable in Vegas as the automation envelopes don't correspond to where it's going to do its thing. It is more predicable in SF where you can get it where you want it and then render it.

As far as I can tell this is not doing a speed change as the event length remains the same

If that's what you're after I have done this more than once to 'plug' a hole. Split the audio event and do the Ctl+Drag trick. It is fiddly though.
