Need MPEG2 Help

I've had to reinstall my DVD Architecture 2.0 program on a new computer (a Sony brand), and every time I try to "insert media" with an mpeg2 file, I keep getting stuck with a popup that says register to get a mpeg2 plug-in. Well, I registered a million times already and still get the pop-up. I tried a download that repairs a registry online issue, but I think it's for earlier versions. Anyway, I'm registered (so its says every time I do so), but I still need access to an mpeg2 download so I can read mpeg2 files on my DVDAS 2.0 timeline. It worked fine when I first installed it two years ago. What's up with this? I can't get beyond the pop-up.

Thanks.

First, make sure you're using the most current update for your version of DVDA. If that doesn't help, check this thread for a possible solution if you're using Windows XP Service Pack 2.

Thanks--I read it, and itr sure sounds like they've had the same situation. I'll check the Service Pack. that I have.
