Need some aweful '3D' transitions

I just used it (Wax) extensively yesterday. I added it to every one of about fifty events. I used Vegas 7.0d. The media was DV, and the content was a film I captured from a satellite TV channel of a strange music documentary of 1960s British called Sound of the City: London 1964-73. I wanted to remove the TV "bug" and also wanted to remove pulldown so I could encode directly to 24p (which produces HUGELY better results than encoding with the pulldown included).

Anyway, I added Wax to each event, and then used Wax to apply a Virtualdub filter called Delogo. In case others didn't know this, you can use many (although not all) of the VirtualDub filters directly within Vegas using this approach.

To get Wax to work, you have to run the Wax configuration program and make the changes that I posted a few days ago:

Wax Settings

You can use Virtual Dub filters in Vegas using WAX as long as they aren't temporal in nature, like a noise reduction filter. If they work on a single frame at a time, they will work in Vegas.

Speaking of Kiki, she's a real character. Check out her SciFi rock and roll band, "Warp 11"

Bob,

You need to tell your client that Vegas Pro is just that... a PRO level program which doesn't rely on a lot of cheese. As a result Sony Vegas is alive and well, and MSP is.... well.... discontinued (MSP8 was the last version.... Corel has killed it).

Aside from that, you can make some really great stuff with the old debugMode plugin pac... 3D shatter, pixel stretch, 3D plugin, the plugin pac adapter in combination with Vdub's cartooner can make some REALLY neat stuff. And I love using the 3D plugin in combination with pro titler.... you can make some really great titles.

I also have a free 3D cubes transition if you want it. Can't off hand remember where I got it though.

I actually have this (not installed).

It had a couple cool transitions.

It is definitely CheeseFactor^3.

Hey Bob

You have got Boris red plug

Use the 3d shatter particle set the particle to about 50%

Take a snap of the bore use that in shape track in Boris
So the bore will explode in triangles the triangles will slowly morph into the bore shape at the same time coming in again for your next clip
