Need to render a .flv file!!! Help

Ok, I get past the learning curve, start getting into a work flow and then find out that a .flv file is not listed as a render option!!!!

I need a .flv file

No, you don't need a FLV. FLVs are the old standard of Flash, and they are deprecated by MP4. All you need to do is export in MP4 like this: http://eugenia.queru.com/2007/11/09/exporting-with-vegas-for-vimeo-hd/ (just make sure you don't use more than 2.5 mbps bitrate instead of the suggestion 8 mbps), and then pass the resulted MP4 file through this utility: http://eugenia.queru.com/2009/07/13/tip-make-your-mp4-web-exports-stream/

Then, you can just embed that streaming MP4 file on to your Flash player. Voila.
