Need to trim 4K video, any suggestions

I've been using Avidemux 2.6 to trim video to extract a few seconds of useful video from a long clip. It works great and doesn't re-compress the original video so I don't loose quality.

However, I now have a Sony AX100 that shoots 4K and Avidemux won't let me trim the video. Sometimes the video works but the audio gets distorted.

If someone has had success with Avidemux and 4K, what settings are you using?
Is there an alternative to Avidemux which is just as simple to use and doesn't re-compress the original?

thanks,

I don't know if VideoReDo handles 4k yet, but give it a try.

What format does the AX100 shoot? You could try TMPGenc MPEG Smart Renderer 4. There is a trial version.
