Much sure you rename the cfhd.dll component in the Vegas8 directory. Vegas sometimes loads that old version instead of the new NEO component. If that doesn't fix it, contact support.

Renaming cfhd.dll to cfhd.dll.old alows Vegas to open with the files BUT only a audio track now - no video?
