When I started Vegas 7e after installing Nero 7 Essestials, Vegas crashed on startup while loading DirectX Plugins.

This is under Vista.

Removing Nero seems to solve the problem.

I have never noticed another application affecting Vegas so dramatically before.

Is this normal DirectX application interaction?
