Nest Project 32plug in a 64Parent?

Any way around this 'un?

I'm needing to use Mike Crash's Deinterlace Filter (nice!). However Mike's filters are 32bit.

I have a Top Level 64bit Project - "A" - with 10 - "B" - nests.

OK . . . .

What is happening is that the 64bit "A" keeps looking for the 32bit Mike Crash filter coming from within a "B".

Apart from a sub render of the offending Clip, any way around this?

What's interesting is that the proxy Nest, although being created, would banjax the 64bit. Isn't that "odd"?

TIA

Grazie

Grazie,

This isn't directly answering your question, but I've had very good luck with the Yohng Yadif Deinterlace FX.

You merely add the effect as a "Media FX" and it works nicely in 64 bit Vegas. I've found it slows down my renders, but produces a very nice deinterlace.

It's really helpful when I mix Interlaced & Progressive footage in a project. I make the project progressive, apply the Yohng Deinterlacer to the interlaced video events (now Vegas thinks all these interlaced events are progressive) and the renders look great.

Agree with Jerry, Yadif much easier to live with than Smart De-interlacer.
