Nested Projects

Is there any way to retain split media for incoming nested projects?

For example; I have a project with multiple audio files that I want to remain in order but not grouped as one unit.

When I place a VEG file in to my timeline, all of the media is grouped. Is there a way to un-group the audio and video files so I can slide them around on my timeline as is the case in both separate VEG files? I don't want to have to split them again.

Nothing i can think of other than split. If i read what you are doing right, it might be easier to place the files individually on the new timeline rather than using nesting.

Thanks for the reply. It would be WAY to time consuming to dump a bunch of individual audio files and then have to sort and order them. I guess easiest to split.
