.NET Framework 1.1 download

Dear all,

I tried to install the demo of Vegas 5 yesterday. The installer told me that I need .NET framework 1.1 install. I check the link Vegas provide and this morning (at work) I decided to download the 23MB but the rate is about ~600bytes/second (ridiculously slow: around 30 hours). I tried Nero Package 1 (25MB) it clock at 100KB/second (fast: 5 minutes).

Now my question is: does somebody know another link to get that software? No Microsoft link please.

Sorry for the long explanation, but I would like to try Vegas 5.

I guess, thousand of people are downloading that package or microsoft websites are not up to speed. I'm going to wait couple days and try again.

are you downloading via windows update? you might want to try this link instead. i downloaded in just over 2 mins.

Yes, and now it's working at top speed (80 to 100KB/second).
