.NET framework 2 ok?

Hi all. I recently purchased Sound Forge 9 which requires .NET Framework v.2.
Will this also work for VMS or do I need to also install version 1.2?

I just had to install .NET Framework 2.0 last night for a program that required it. VMS 7 works fine afterwards so I don't see a problem with it.
