Does it say that or is that your experience? All of the NewBlue FX plug-ins that I have work in both 32 & 64-bit with one license. This may not have been intentional but may actually be a bug?
Thats correct.....You must install it again for each version or host.
And once activated, it applies across the board for each version
of the plug-in you activate.........Hope i'm being clear.
You should always read the fine print, and not be to hectic during installations. Where you select either the 32 or 64 bit version - it is clearly prompted that you must run the installation a second time, if you want to install for both :)
"Thats correct.....You must install it again for each version or host."
And once you install for the other, it blanks out the one that you installed for the first. Again like I said, you can install for one OR the other, but not both (at the same time).
I don't understand what you wrote- are you saying you can still only use the plugins for only one version of Vegas? Or are you saying that you can use it for both, but you had to install it twice like the directions said?
I understand what you are saying Blink....
But you really have no need to push the plugin to do that.
You either have it working in the 64bit or 32bit architecture,
whichever gives you the faster output.
I have 32 and 64 bit vegas installed on the same OS. When I install Blue in the 32 bit vegas it works fine... until I install to the 64 bit version. Then the 64 bit version works fine and the 32 bit version no longer works with Blue. If I go back and reinstall blue to vegas 32... then it stops working in 64.
Granted I have not yet tried running Vegas 32 and 64 on different OS's yet.... but that MAY be the key.
That's not what I'm seeing. I installed the 64-bit version, appeared fine in Vegas Pro 9-64. I then installed the 32-bit version - still appeared fine in Vegas Pro 9-64.
Yes, this should allow unhindered use in both Vegas versions. If we have a bug, we need to fix it. So, if you are experiencing this problem, please contact our support team so we can work with you to solve it: http://www.newbluefx.com/support.html
Todor, on a related note, I work at a community college and have two separate licenses of Vegas.
Can I install the Sampler pack on 2 different machines, thus allowing me to also get the Sound FX package as well?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Maybe a bug... maybe my machine. It seems Edward (jetdv) is not have this issue with his machine so I will have to go back and take a closer look and see what's happening.
I know that when I install to one it works fine... until I install to the other Vegas. Then if I go back to original Vegas with the original Blue install... all the heading for the effects are still there, but I get a blank preview when trying to place one on the time line (this includes the transitions and the effects). So I have to re-install to that vegas version... but then when I reinstall to that version... then the OTHER one starts getting blank previews.
