New Blue Titler Pro II gone after installing Vegas 14

I purchased NB Titler Pro II AE earlier and have used it extensively with Sony Vegas Pro 12 and 13. Recently I upgraded to Vegas Pro 14 (now by Magix) and got New Blue Titler Pro 3 Express with it. It works although it is a very simple plugin with only a handful titles and you can hardly do anything with them.

So I look for my good old Titler Pro 2 - but it is gone!

Switching back to Vegas 13 - it is gone there too!

Checking the directory, Titler Pro II has been deleted from the system.

Checking New Blue website - and there is no mention of it, just that it is a legacy product and no longer available.

Why is this? And what can I do about it?

Perhaps not relevant to Titler Pro II but the whole NewBlue / VP14 mess is being discussed at https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/newblue-titler-products-on-vp14--103745/

Yes, I can see that. I also realize now that Production Assistant 2.0 doesn't work in Vegas 14. Perhaps I didn't do my homework.

I sent in a support ticket to NB about Titler Pro 2 being gone. Let's see.

I would like to see more communication from Magix about all this. The silence is strange.

Ok, I got the answer from NewBlue:

The NB Titler Pro 3 Express will replace all other versions of Titler Pro. So Titler Pro 2 is erased. It means I can't have both. Oh, I wish Magix would have informed about that.

Titler Pro 3 Express has a few good titles and lower thirds that I would like to keep, as I payed for it. At the same time I can't be without Titler Pro 2 with all of its design functions. And I can't have both. So..

Either I uninstall Titler Pro 3 and reinstall Titler Pro 2, or stay with toy-like Express 3 and lose the Titler 2, or buy the full Titler Pro 4 which would give me all functionality back and more. However, I would have to pay for that an extra couple of hundred $.

So buying Vegas Pro 14 was a setback in that way. Again, they could have informed ábout that before purchase. Huh!

Anyway, I am busy working and editing using my Vegas 14 which so far has been stable.
