New computer ready to install - which version?

Please give me a hint.
Just got this brand new computer just for Vegas.
(run Vegas 9c on the old)
win 7/64 professional
Mobo Gigabyte GA-x58A UD3R
Intel core i7 930 2,8 GHz
RAM 6 GB DDR3 (room for 24 GB)
Nvidia GeForce GT 240
80GB intel x25 G2 SSD systemdisk
4x1TB SATAII 7200 rpm
VGA,HDMI,DVI,USB 2&3,Fw400

Nothing is installed yet.
I wonder if I shall install Vegas 9e/64 directly
or 9c first (never downloaded 9d)
and then update to 9e?
Thanks in advance!
/Aje

If you want to use both 64 and 32 bit version (32 for the not 64bit plugins) but want to use the 64bit as the default (when you dblclick a .veg) then inst 9.0e 32 bit first and thereafter 9.0e 64 bit.
Else just inst 9.0e 64 bit directly.

Thanks for answer!
I read in another thread that you could get activationproblems
with a clean install of 9e.Therefore i thought that installing 9c first and then update to 9d would be better but I guess i have to try to
install 9e directly and see what happens.

No - on the contrary - one of the older versions had a prob. so that the update to next version required a reactivation.
No big deal, however, to copy and paste the serial number and press return :- ))
