So, I've been working on my 5 dvds worth of training video and was getting close to wrapping up the Vegas work, and went to load my 4th dvd veg file. Immediately I get the exact following message,
The format of the media file conflicts with the way it was previously used in the current project. This could be due to the number and type of streams changing.
This has me baffled. I've opened this veg file and worked on it and test ran via preview window multiple times with no issues at all.
The file is an .avi file and still works if I play it with windows media player. I also just opened a new session of Vegas and drop the file into a blank project and it works fine. Any ideas what's going on? I'm using Vegas Pro 8.
New Edit info:
I decided to open a new session of Vegas, with my problem video still open in the first session. I copied everything from the old session into the new one and now have no problem with the offensive video file.
But, I don't know if it's possible to copy the volume envelope into the audio track. I tried several ways and it's not working. If there's any way to do this please let me know. Thanks
