New Event Pan/Crop glitch with New video card

Express wrote on 2/25/2012, 11:08 AM
I've been working on a video for a few weeks - put in a new card yesterday (GTX560) and when Event Pan/Crop has rotation on still pictures - the output jumps/re-sizes, Eliminating the rotation eliminates the problem.

This happens in both preview and in the output file.
Very easy to replicate - with stills from 3 different cameras.
Tried it on video - which I never tried with the old card - and no apparent rotation issues with video.

Vegas 10 no issues:
Cut and paste offending stills from the V11 timeline to the V10 timeline - no rotation glitches. Add new stills with rotation - no issues.

Old card :Asus GTS250 - no rotation issues.
New Card EVGA GTX560 - rotation issues.

I see the same problem.

Win 7-64bit, VP11/521, nVidia GEForce 9800GT card 1GB RAM, 285.62 driver.

Turning off GPU acceleration in Preferences > Video cures the problem.

Hi Express,

Sorry you ran into this problem. It's a known issue and a fix is coming soon. You are correct that it affects only certain video card/driver combinations.

Best regards,

I too have this problem and have been avoiding rotation because of it. Can't wait for the fix. I miss rotation of stills.

Paddy,
Will the fix also cure the 'border' problem reported in this thread?
