New GPU not being used for rendering with MSI RX 570 video card.

I just upgraded two computers with new MSI RX 570 video cards. I'm using VEGAS Movie Studio 16 Platinum with Windows 7 Home 64 bit edition. My systems hve 16GB of memory. I have watched video's on Youtube about setting the Movie studio software to render using the GPU but, it makes no difference. GPU is just hovering close to 0% and the processor is going to 97-100%. I have created a RAM drive with AMD software but makes no difference. I have the latest AMD drivers for the video card which is 20.4.1. Power setting is "High Performance". If I run a GPU test with GPU-Z or other, the GPU constantly gets up to and stays close to 100%. Not sure what else to try!

Hello j-v. I purchased VMS 16 before Christmas and at that time Windows 7 was still supported. By not switching to Windows 10 I'm stuck with 16.0 build 167. This should be working!

Where do you want to use your GPU? If you had a Nvidia rendering with it is possible. For the rest it can help for a little acceleration of some added FX
If only at rendering as you wrote, which (customized?) template do you use?

In order for the GPU to be used for rendering, a rendering template must be selected, which also supports this. For AMD cards, these are the MAGIX AVC / AAC - AMD VCE templates.
MAGIX AVC / AAC MP4 -> Internet HD 1080p 50 fps (AMD VCE).
