New PC spec for Vegas 12?

Any comments appreciated. Anything necessary or could be improved without breaking the bank? This will cost around £1600.
I already have other HDDs that I can use with it - external and internal.

ritsmer, those benchmark numbers you are getting with your EVO are terrible. There's something wrong....

That said, if your building a performance PC & it doesn't have an SSD for at least your OS and programs, you're not really building a performance PC.

I have (2) 840 Pro's (OS Programs & Real Time HD Captures) and they absolutely smoke my (4) Caviar Blacks.

Thought I would expand my comment a bit. The EVO SSD's are pretty much just as fast if not faster in some systems than the Pro SSD's are. My Pro's benchmark with Magician @ 560MB/ps read with write speeds @ 500MB/ps. IOPS clock in right around 100,000 for both read & write. When I enable RAPID mode on one of my Pro's both read & write speeds are in excess of 1GB per second.
