Looking good, seems they're all considered a bit too plasticy though.
(That's a very rough translation by the better half)

plastic flu is a good weight

Is this something we should worry about?

Down here we're worrying about Bird Flu from Asia, we've got an outbreak of Equine Flu that is said to have arrived here from HK and now the threat of Plastic Flu from Taiwan

What can I say but "Not this old surcharge Photo:"

- I wonder what the original Chinese caption said?

Must say I'm really interested in the XDCamEX.

Has anyone read how its footage might mix with HDV from Z1/A1 etc?

I'm also interested in what the Panasonic AVCHD camcorder is about. It doesn't look like an HVX200, HPX500 or HPX2000. Is this a sub US$8000 camcorder with interframe compression to nip at the market that the PMW-EX1 is aimed at?

It looks to have slightly less plastic-flu about it's casing! ;-)

Based on the DP at the Sony NAB seminars that does shows on the Discovery channel with XDCAM HD above water and Z1 HDV underwater, he said those mix great.

So being that XDCAM EX is the exact same codecs as XDCAM HD, it should mix fine.

Sony XDCAM EX is most likely my next camcorder.
