New Project Options missing

Hi,
with the beta version of DVD-A I had 4 options within File/New Project: Menu Based, Music Compilation, Picture Slideshow and Single Movie - OK.
Yesterday I purchased the Upgrade to Vegas+DVD and now with the release version of DVD-A there are only the first 2 options for a new project available: Menu Based and Music Compilation. The other 2 options are not there. Also there is no horizontal scroll-bar (of course because there is now enough place in the windows for the 2 options).
Is this a change from beta to the release version? The manual and also the help information is still talking of the 4 options?

Any ideas?
Regards
Johannes

Just installed it and it has the 4 choices.
I have no idea why you refer to a horizontal scroll bar because all 4 show and there is no need for a scroll bar.

Very strange!
Thank you for verifying this for me.
I referred to the horizontal scroll bar because of the fact that in the beta version it was there. To be absolutely sure we talk about the same thing I describe it once more in detail:

File / New...
a window opens with 2 tabs: General and Summary
on the General tab
First field are the different project types. Each type is represented by an icon. In my case there are exactly 2 such icons (labeled "Menu Based" and "Music Compilation").
In the beta version which I have installed on another partition I have 4 such icons in the same place. But the size of the field the 4 icons are in is not wide enough to display them all, so there is a horizontal scroll bar to get to the 3rd and 4th of the icons.

I have verified, that the window I talk about is NOT resizeable, so I cannot imagine how you can see the 4 icons without a scrollbar - the window is to small.

Really strange???

In the meantime I tried 2 things:
1. Repair Installation via control panel
2. Remove DVD-A via Control Panel and new install DVD-A

But that did not change anything. Still only two project types available within the New Project window (instead of 4)!

Anybody else having this?

Thank you for the info.
So it is something special in my installation?

Funny thing:
In 1.0beta build 128 I've got 4 entries: Menu based, Music Compilation, Picture Slide Show, Single Movie
In 1.0demo build 160, I've got only the first three of them.

Really interesting!
In 1.0 release build 160, I'va got on the first two.

I contacted tech support about this thing. We'll see with what they come up.

What OS to you have? What version of Internet Explorer?

We found a similiar problem in the beta under Windows 98 with IE 5.0. We attempted to fix the problem, but maybe we didn't get all the cases. If you could let me know your system settings, it will help fix this problem in the future.

However, in the mean time, if you have I.E. 5.0 or less, try installing I.E. 5.5 or higher.

Just to keep up to date:

Tech support advised me to create a new user with admin privs and try it with this user.
I did this and really there is some change:
With this new user now I have 3 of the 4 project types offered - the type "Single Movie" is still missing!
So now that seems to be the same status another user described here in this thread with the Demo-Version Build 160.
