I'm looking for the save location for templates of new projects. (File > New).
I want this so I can backup my custom "new project" settings before I format my PC.
Does anyone know where this is? I've looked and I can't find it.

AFAIK it is wherever you last opened a project from. If you choose file - save As, it will show you. Don't think there is an override for this?
This hasn't helped. Before I create anything, I select my new project settings. I want to back up the custom one I made here.
I don't see how they would be the last folder I used to save a project? I just tested it and they aren't in there. :/
Oh, you want the project TEMPLATES location for backup; my misunderstanding.
I THINK they are under appdata / roaming / vegas... but I don't remember exactly. Try searching this forum for template folders or similar. I am sure this has been discussed before. I'll dig around once I have a moment.
Vegasaur can do what you need, otherwise I am not sure it is practical to copy the files yourself - may be best to just re-type if there aren't too many. There was a Sony Presets Manager, but I don't know if you can still get this. Anyone?
