New Still Image help

I am useing Movie Stuio 8.0 and I have a lot of JPEGs that I want to go into the timelime to be an Animation.

So they will have to go by fast what would be a good number to type in the New Still Image?

How fast? 10 per second? That would be 00:00:00;03 for three frames each, at least in NTSC. 1 per frame? That would be 00:00:00;01. 3 per second would be 00:00:00;10 for 10 frames each.
