Can I have more than one 'button' point to the same file? for example, I would like to create a 'Play Movie' and 'Select Scenes' where the select scenes takes the viewer to a submenu with chapter buttons.
I certainly wouldn't want to add the same file twice to achieve this.
Sure you can just create the "chapters" in your main video file and then add a submenu by right clicking on the folder and adding a menu page. then insert blank buttons and point to the chapters with the button properties.
I certainly wouldn't want to add the same file twice to achieve this.
For the record (and assuming you're not using a really old version of DVDA), you can add a file to our project as many times as you want and, under most circumstances, DVD Architect will put it on the disc only once. It simply references the same file as needed.
There are exceptions, notably when you alter one "version" of the file in the project. In these case, you will see the "copies" listed under File > Optimize DVD.
Thanks, that's what I needed t know. I just bought Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 8 mostly just for DVDA. I have several other editors I like better than Vegas Studio. DVDA seems to not render (so far) any files that I've exported from the other editors.
