In particular I have a question about the Video FX - Film Effects.
If you click on this item in the Video FX window, you're presented with several presets:
Very Old Film
Low Quality Color
Circa 1908
Circa 1980
The Very OLD Film has vertical lines moving through it. Now, I thought that Very Old Film was just a saved PRESET, so I assumed there should be a way for me to replicate the effect by simply adding Film Effects in the chain and adjusting the controls in the Video FX settings window, but there isn't. I can't recreate the vertical lines.
If I set all of the controls to zero in the settings window for the packaged Very Old Film preset, the vertical lines are still present.
So, it appears that the packaged presets(i.e. those included with Vegas) in the Video FX window are more than just saved FILM EFFECT settings. That is, there is more to the effect than what appears in the Video FX settings window.
AM I right?
