New to Vegas Pro... How do you install and use Plug-ins?

dale-delong wrote on 11/22/2016, 6:47 PM

I am using Vegas Pro 13 Suite. I want to learn how to use plug ins like NewBlue, which came with my purchase, but have no idea if they are installed or not, how to install them if they aren't, and how to use them to begin with. Are they any good videos or tutorials on YouTube or here on the forum?

Don't know what good this information is regarding this question, but I am using an i7-6700 with 56gig of RAM and an NVIDIA GTX-1070 with 8 gig of RAM

I think NewBlueFX is a separate installation.

Do you have any link for NewBlueFX download on your e-mail purchase receipt?

I too have Vegas Pro 13 suite. As Set has said, I received an email confirming my purchase. The email contained a link to my order status (which I can still see). Listed are all the products that I could download - the Vegas products, Izotope, New Blue Titler and Hit Film etc. Click on each one and download it.  The post http://newbluefx.tumblr.com/post/28997707957/where-to-install-newbluefx-plugins

suggests where to put the New Blue ones. You might then have to go to Options>Preferences and click on the VST tab and "point" your computer to where these plug ins are located.
