new to vv4

I've been using vv3 for sometime now and am happy with it. Now I'm trying out the v4.0 demo. I want to create a slideshow but how to I save my settings like the lenght of pictures and overlap between them? I know how to this in vv3 but in vv4, everytime I close the window in Options/Preferences/Editing and tried to open it up again, it always goes back to default settings.

I think there should be a little check box that says. Check here to save these as the default settings. Try that.

This may be disabled in demo.

Works on a demo version here. Changed the length of a new still to 10 seconds (instead of the default of 5). Clicked OK, went back in, it's still 10 seconds. Exited the program, went back in, still set to 10 seconds.

Oops. I see OK now. It's right at the very bottom of my screen covered by this long grey bar. Thnx.
